Who owns and manages the properties?

All of our properties are held directly by the Weir Bank Group which is a collection of companies held by the same family. The business was set up in 1960 and remains family run.

Weir Bank Group is proud to be fully involved in the day to day management and maintenance of each of the properties.

What type of properties to you have?

We have a diverse portfolio of properties from the West Midlands to the South Coast of England. These include:-

  • residential apartments;
  • offices;
  • farmland;
  • retail units;
  • warehouses; and
  • event venues.

We also hold a selection of land parcels for development and are actively looking for new sites to add to the portfolio.

Where are your properties located?

Our Locations pages on the website will provide detailed information about the locations and types of properties available at each site. In summary, we have properties in London, Berkshire, Hampshire, East Sussex, and the West Midlands.

Are you selling any of your properties?

We are not actively listing any properties for sale. Whilst we are always willing to discuss potential offers or partnerships, our aim is to grow the portfolio and bring more properties under direct management.

How do I find your vacancies?

You will find a Zoopla link next to our properties showing any current vacancies. This link will take you to the listing on Zoopla where you will find more information. If you are interested in a particular property that does not have a Zoopla link, please contact us for further information.

Who is responsible for insurance?

We ensure buildings insurance for each of our properties. Contents insurance is the responsibility of the individual tenant.

What is the length of the term for renting any of your properties?

We offer flexible terms based on tenant needs, ranging from long-term agreements to short rolling contracts. As the owner/manager, we make quick decisions on a case by case basis. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

How do I work out Business Rates and Council Tax?

These are set by the local authority. However, we are able to provide some guidance on this. Please enquire for details about specific properties.

Do the properties come with parking?

Most of our buildings come with parking included. Where buildings have limited or no onsite parking, we may have partnerships with local providers offering competitive or discounted rates. Please enquire for details.

Who manages the cleaning?

We provide cleaning of the common areas for both our residential and commercial properties. In some cases, in particular our office spaces, we are able to extend our cleaning services to tenanted offices, where required. This comes at a competitive rate leveraging our arrangements.

Do the buildings come with Broadband?

Yes, all of our sites are connected to high speed internet. All of our residential properties have broadband connections however, currently the connection is the responsibility of the tenant. We are working with our broadband providers to make this process simpler so that we can provide higher speeds at lower costs.
